CALL TO ORDER AND RECOGNITION OF TRADITIONAL TERRITORIES
The Chair called the meeting to order and acknowledged that the meeting was being held on the unceded traditional territory of the K’ómoks First Nation.
 
 
RECEIPT OF MINUTES
The minutes of the Agricultural Advisory Planning Committee meeting held April 25, 2019 were not received pending a requested amendment. The amended minutes will be presented for receipt at the next meeting. [Item
 
 
REPORTS
NON-ADHERING RESIDENTIAL USE – 7392 HOWARD ROAD (NADEAU / WELK)
 
 
J. MacLean, Rural Planner, provided an overview of application ALR 3C 19 for 7392 Howard Road (Nadeau/Welk).
 
 
Kristina Welk, applicant, was in attendance at the meeting.
 
 
B. Thompson/D. Page: THAT the Agricultural Advisory Planning Committee support forwarding Non-Adhering Residential Use Application ALR 3C 19 to the Agricultural Land Commission to add a new manufactured home for the purpose of providing residence to the property’s current owners as they transition ownership of the property at 7392 Howard Road (Nadeau/Welk), with the following recommendations:

• due diligence has been done and the land is being actively farmed;
• proposed site is gravel with low agricultural capability;
• proposed site is at one corner of the farm and will not impact farming activities;
• proposed site will utilize an existing internal driveway from the road to the site.

COMPREHENSIVE ZONING BYLAW REVIEW
 
 
T. Trieu, Manager of Planning Services, provided a verbal update on the Comprehensive Zoning Bylaw Review process.
 
 
STATUS UPDATE ON APC RECOMMENDATIONS
 
 
T. Trieu, Manager of Planning Services, provided an update regarding Electoral Area Services Committee and board decisions related to APC recommendations.
 
 
G. McClintock left the meeting at 8:39 pm.
