Arnott: THAT the Sewage Commission permit the Director for Electoral Area B to participate as a non-voting member on all matters related to odour issues from the Comox Valley Water Pollution Control Centre and sewage infrastructure located in Area B until such time as this topic is considered through the Utilities Governance Study.

VILLAGE OF CUMBERLAND - COMPOSTING OF DEWATERED BIOSOLIDS FROM THE VILLAGE OF CUMBERLAND WASTEWATER LAGOONS
 
 
K. Grant/D. Hillian: THAT the correspondence dated May 22, 2019 from the Village of Cumberland requesting to enter into an agreement in principle with the Comox Valley Regional District to process their biosolids at the Comox Valley Sewerage Service Biosolids Composting facility be received. [Item

La Rose, Senior Manager of Water/Wastewater Services, provided an overview on the report regarding a request from the Village of Cumberland to enter into an agreement in principle with the Comox Valley Regional District to process their biosolids at the Comox Valley Sewerage Service Biosolids Composting facility.
 
 
D. Hillian/K. Grant: THAT staff be directed to prepare a report concerning the request from the Village of Cumberland to process their biosolids at the Comox Valley Sewerage Service Biosolids Composting facility, with specific consideration of a full cost recovery analysis and conditions of approval.
