The purpose of this meeting is for committee members to consider the matters included on the agenda below. The chair of the committee will preside over the meeting according to the CVRD procedure bylaw. This meeting is not meant for general public input. If members of the public wish to speak at a meeting, they should contact the CVRD legislative services department to request to appear as a delegation.

In the event of an emergency the public gathering place is the parking lot outside the boardroom.

THAT the matter of Electoral Area B participation on the Sewage Commission be referred to the Sewage Commission for further consideration of the requested amendment to Bylaw No. 650;

AND FURTHER THAT the Board advise the Sewage Commission of its desire to act on such recommendation or through subsequent consideration as part the Utilities Governance Study.

3) COMOX VALLEY FOOD POLICY COUNCIL
 
Report dated June 4, 2019 regarding the creation of a Comox Valley Food Policy Council for receipt. [Item

Recommendation #1:
 
THAT the Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) endorse the formation of the Comox Valley Food Policy Council (CVFPC) and direct staff to identify opportunities for collaboration with the CVFPC, once established, in support of CVRD services and strategic priorities and provide in-kind assistance as requested by the CVFPC (i.e. provision of meeting space).
