| Boardroom, located at 550 B Comox Road, Courtenay, BC commencing at 3:15 pm The purpose of this meeting is for committee members to consider the matters included on the agenda below. The chair of the committee will preside over the meeting according to the CVRD procedure bylaw. This meeting is not meant for general public input. If members of the public wish to speak at a meeting, they should contact the CVRD legislative services department to request to appear as a delegation. All committee motions will be voted on using weighted votes as determined under Bylaw No. 1783. In the event of an emergency the public gathering place is the parking lot outside the boardroom. | ||

Report dated August 7, 2019 regarding a business case for upgrades to the Comox Valley Water System bulk water standpipe for receipt. [Item] | ||||||
Recommendation #1: | ||||||
THAT the 2019-2023 financial plan and capital expenditures program for the Comox Valley Water Supply System Service, function 300, be amended to increase water infrastructure expenses in 2019 by $120,000 for upgrades to the bulk water standpipe located at 4795 Headquarters Road, to be funded by a contribution from capital works reserve #838. | ||||||
Recommendation #2: | ||||||
THAT the ‘other than local government’ bulk water rate as outlined within Schedule A of Bylaw No. 190 being the “Comox Valley Water Supply System Bulk Water Rates, Bylaw No. 190, 2011” be amended from $1.42 per cubic meter to $3.91 per cubic meter to reflect capital, operating and administration costs associated with operation of the standpipe. | ||||||
