CALL TO ORDER AND RECOGNITION OF TRADITIONAL TERRITORIES
The Chair called the meeting to order and acknowledged that the meeting was being held on the unceded traditional territory of the K’ómoks First Nation.

REPORTS
DEVELOPMENT VARIANCE PERMIT DV 7C 19 – 60 SALSBURY ROAD (DEBALINHARD/LESSARD)
 
 
B. Labute, Planner, provided an overview of the memorandum dated September 9, 2019 regarding a Development Variance Permit DV 7C 19 to reduce the minimum rear yard setback for a carriage house and the minimum side yard setback for a carport attached to the principal dwelling at 60 Salsbury Road (deBalinhard/Lessard). [Item
 
 
John deBalinhard, applicant, was in attendance at the meeting.
 
 
B. Thompson/M. Presley: THAT the Area C Advisory Planning Commission support Development Variance Permit DV 7C 19 to reduce the minimum rear yard setback for a carriage house and the minimum side yard setback for a carport attached to the principal dwelling at 60 Salsbury Road (deBalinhard/Lessard) as proposed, as the building has been in existence for many years with no complaints from neighbours and is suitable to current lot.

TEMPORARY USE PERMIT - TUP 3C 19 - 4627, 4635, 4639, 4745, 4749, 4751 AND 4753 FORBIDDEN PLATEAU ROAD (GRIESSEL)
 
 
B. Labute, Planner, provided an overview of the memorandum dated September 9, 2019 regarding a Temporary Use Permit TUP 3C 19 to allow three test and tune events annually for a period of three years at 4627, 4635, 4639, 4745, 4749, 4751 and 4753 Forbidden Plateau Road (Griessel). [Item
 
 
M. Presley/B. Thompson: THAT the Area C Advisory Planning Commission support Temporary Use Permit TUP 3C 19 to allow three test and tune events annually for a period of three years at 4627, 4635, 4639, 4745, 4749, 4751 and 4753 Forbidden Plateau Road (Griessel)as long as upper limits of people, cars, event dates, etc are agreed upon. In addition, that the CVRD review and approve insurance to ensure coverage as adequate.
