| PROPOSED ZONING BYLAW AMENDMENT RZ 1C 19 – 8659 ISLAND HIGHWAY (ZIMMERMAN) | ||||||

Trieu, Manager of Planning Services, provided an overview of the memorandum dated December 12, 2019 regarding Zoning Bylaw Amendment RZ 1C 19 to rezone the property to Industrial Light (IL) in order to develop and use the lot for light industrial purposes at 8659 Island Highway (Zimmerman). [Item] | ||||||
| M. Presley/B. Thompson: THAT the Area C Advisory Planning Commission support Zoning Bylaw Amendment RZ 1C 19 to rezone the property to Industrial Light (IL) in order to develop and use the lot for light industrial purposes at 8659 Island Highway (Zimmerman) as proposed for the following reasons:
1. Location - current access is isolated. 2. The configuration of both lots is too narrow for each lot. 3. Light industrial is typical of the surrounding zoning. Industrial Light (IL) is a more appropriate zoning. | ||||||
