| DEVELOPMENT VARIANCE PERMIT DV 1A 20 – 3414 KENTWOOD ROAD (ROWAN) | ||||||
| D. Thiessen, Planner I, provided an overview of the memorandum dated February 28, 2020 regarding Development Variance Permit Application DV 1A 20 to reduce the front yard setback by 2.62 metres and to reduce the minimum setback required for eaves by 0.2 metres to enable the applicant to construct an entryway/mudroom to the front of the house at 3414 Kentwood Road (Rowan). | Marc and Lindsay Rowan, applicants, were in attendance at the meeting. | ||||||
| K. Fouracre/B. Trussler: THAT the Area A Advisory Planning Commission support Development Variance Permit Application DV 1A 20 as presented in the memorandum dated February 28, 2020, for the following reasons:
• The addition appears to be an improvement to the home and neighbourhood; • conserves energy with the door being set out from the main house; and, • the porch provides weather protection. | ||||||
