CALL TO ORDER AND RECOGNITION OF TRADITIONAL TERRITORIES
The Chair called the meeting to order and staff acknowledged that the meeting was being held on the unceded traditional territory of the K’ómoks First Nation.

REPORTS
DEVELOPMENT PERMIT DP 4B 20 - 5228 ISLAND HIGHWAY NORTH (MOUNTAIN RIDGE TREE FARMS LTD.)
 
 
J. MacLean, Rural Planner provided an overview of the memorandum dated April 7, 2020 regarding a Development Permit application to enable subdivision or development of land within 30 metres of agricultural land. [Item
 
 
The applicant's agent, Tobin Laughlin, was in attendance via teleconference and spoke to the application.
 
 
B. Thompson/D. Page: THAT the Agricultural Advisory Planning Commission support the application as proposed in the memorandum dated April 7, 2020 for the following reason:

- The lots would not interfere with agricultural operations and existence of similar development on surrounding properties.
 Carried
 
STATUS UPDATE ON APC RECOMMENDATIONS
 
 
Staff will provide an update regarding Electoral Area Services Committee and board decisions related to APC recommendations.
