REPORTS
ZONING BYLAW AMENDMENT RZ 1A 19 - UNADDRESSED LOT IN UNION BAY (UPPER ISLAND DEVELOPMENTS LTD.)
 
 
J. MacLean, Rural Planner, provided an overview of the memorandum dated August 31, 2020 regarding Zoning Bylaw Amendment Application RZ 1A 19 to rezone a 55 hectare undeveloped parcel in the Union Bay Settlement Node from Country Residential One (CR-1) to a residential zone that would enable its subdivision into lots with a minimum area of 0.36 hectares. Andrew Saxton, owner, and Hal Martyn, consultant, were in attendance at the meeting.
 
 
K. Fouracre/R. Kayfetz: THAT the Area A Advisory Planning Commission support the application in principle as proposed in the memorandum dated August 31, 2020 relating to Rezoning Application of an unaddressed lot (Upper Island Developments Ltd.) in the Union Bay Settlement Node from Country Residential One (CR-1) to a residential zone that would enable its subdivision into lots with a minimum area of 0.36 hectares.

Staff provided an update regarding Electoral Area Services Committee and board decisions related to APC recommendations.
