| BUDGET AMENDMENT FOR BEACH REPLENISHMENT WORK ALONG FORCEMAIN | ||||||
| K. Grant/M. Swift: THAT the report dated September 9, 2020 regarding Comox Valley Sewerage Service 2020-2024 financial plan to accommodate emergency beach replenishment for the foreshore forcemain along Willemar Bluffs be received. [Item] | ||||||

| K. La Rose, Senior Manager of Water/Wastewater Services, provided an overview of the report regarding a budget amendment for beach replenishment work along the Willemar Bluffs forcemain. | ||||||
| K. Grant/M. Swift: THAT the 2020-2024 financial plan and capital expenditure program for the Comox Valley Sewerage Service, functions 335-338, be amended by increasing minor capital expenses in 2020 by $150,000 in function 336 for the Willemar Bluffs emergency beach replenishment to enhance coverage of the existing sewer forcemain;
AND FURTHER THAT this be funded by a reduction in the contribution to the capital works reserve in 2020 from $2,590,491 to $2,440,491, to supplement the $50,000 already budgeted for this work in 2020, for a total project budget of $200,000. | ||||||
