The chair of the committee will preside over the meeting according to the CVRD procedure bylaw. This meeting may include participation by members of the committee via electronic communication.

Additionally, the Electoral Areas Services Committee will consider any comments or presentations from adjacent property owners in attendance at the meeting.
 
Recommendation:
 
THAT the board approve Development Variance Permit DV 2B 20 (Racine) to reduce the rear yard setback, to allow for the conversion of an accessory building into a secondary dwelling, from 7.5 metres to 3.0 metres for the foundation of the building, and from 5.5 metres to 2.7 metres for the eaves of the building, on property described as Lot 5, District Lot 128, Comox District, Plan 25907, PID 026-997-363 (1904 Mariner Road);

AND FINALLY THAT the Corporate Legislative Officer be authorized to execute the permit.

THAT the board consider giving readings to Bylaw No. 625 being the “Comox Valley Electoral Areas Animal Control Bylaw No. 100, 2010, Amendment No. 1” as attached to the staff report dated September 23, 2020;

AND FURTHER THAT the board consider giving readings to Bylaw No. 627 being “Municipal Ticket Information Bylaw No. 104, 2010” Amendment No. 19” to reflect the changes outlined in the staff report dated September 23, 2020;
