SELECTION OF CHAIR AND RECORDING SECRETARY
Glenn Loxam was selected as Chair for the Area A Advisory Planning Commission.

Karen Fouracre was selected as Recording Secretary for the Area A Advisory Planning Commission.
 
 
CALL TO ORDER AND RECOGNITION OF TRADITIONAL TERRITORIES
The Chair called the meeting to order and acknowledged that the meeting was being held on the unceded traditional territory of the K’ómoks First Nation.

REPORTS
DEVELOPMENT VARIANCE PERMIT DV 5A 20 - 3550 EAGLEVIEW DRIVE (MORGAN)
 
 
B. Chow, Rural Planner, provided an overview of the memorandum dated December 14, 2020 regarding Development Variance Permit DV 5A 20 - 3550 Eagleview Drive (Morgan) to increase the maximum permitted interior entryway and landing space from 2.8 square metres to 5.2 square metres in order to convert a single detached dwelling to a carriage house. [Item
 
 
Tim Morgan, applicant, attended the meeting via electronic means.
 
 
J. Yetter/B. Trussler: THAT the Area A Advisory Planning Commission support the Development Variance Permit application DV 5A 20, 3550 Eagleview Drive (Morgan) as proposed in the memorandum dated December 14, 2020 for the following reasons:
- There will be less impact on the structure and it is not changing the overall footage of the living area as per the bylaw; and
- The environmental impact will be reduced by not doing unnecessary construction.

B. Chow, Rural Planner, provided an overview of the memorandum dated December 22, 2020 regarding Development Variance Permit DV 3A 20 - 609 Lund Road (Roberts) to reduce the front yard setback from 7.5 metres to 4.5 metres to allow for the construction of a two-storey accessory building. [Item
 
 
Sherry Roberts, applicant, attended the meeting via electronic means.

STATUS UPDATE ON APC RECOMMENDATIONS
 
 
T. Trieu, Manager of Planning Services, provided an update regarding Electoral Area Services Committee and board decisions related to APC recommendations.
