| Civic Room, located at 770 Harmston Avenue, Courtenay, BC commencing at 3:00 pm. The chair of the committee will preside over the meeting according to the CVRD procedure bylaw. This meeting may include participation by members of the committee via electronic communication. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and in accordance with Ministerial Order 192, public in-person attendance is not permitted. If members of the public wish to provide input, they should contact the Legislative Services Department. THAT the Comox Valley Regional District enter into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Village of Cumberland, Comox Valley Land Trust and the Cumberland Community Forest Society to support negotiations with the owner of the lands adjacent to the lower Perseverance Creek to determine timelines, financial conditions and opportunities, and ownership and management scenarios that will help to ensure the protection of the lands and drinking water quality in perpetuity. | ||||||
