D. Hillian/K. Grant: THAT the minutes from the September 9, 2021 Water Management Advisory Committee meeting be received.

COMOX LAKE TURBIDITY MODEL
 
 
K. Grant/M. McCollum: THAT the report dated September 15, 2021 regarding the results of the Comox Lake turbidity modelling conducted by Tetra Tech Canada Inc. be received.

K. La Rose, Senior Manager of Water/Wastewater Services, provided an overview of the report regarding the results of the Comox Lake turbidity modelling conducted by Tetra Tech Canada Inc.
 
 
D. Arbour/W. Cole-Hamilton: THAT the Comox Valley Regional District continue to work with the Village of Cumberland and other partners to support initiatives that will decrease sedimentation in Perseverance Creek;

AND FURTHER THAT the Comox Valley Regional District continue to monitor turbidity at the former proposed deep water intake location for one year, along with newly established continuous turbidity monitoring at the new lake intake location, to better understand the extent of the difference in turbidity at these two locations.
